Last night I gave a presentation on Pragmatic Software Architecture and the Role of the Architect at the Dayton .NET Developers Group meeting. We had a big group of quiet people... a little too quiet... I thought I was going to be done with the presentation in fifteen minutes because nobody was asking questions. Actually, there were a lot of questions and interesting discussion after I finished the formal presentation. We had quite a crowd at the meeting. Thirty-seven according to Jim Holmes.
If anyone is looking for the slides from the presentation, they are available at my web site: http://wirtley.net/presentations. A listing of the architecture resources I described in the presentation are available here: http://wirtley.net/architecture.
I appreciate the opportunity to speak to the group and thank everyone who attended. I'd also appreciate any feedback you may have to help me improve this presentation or future presentations I may do. You can send me a message through my web site: http://wirtley.net/Contact.aspx.
